To obtain your real estate salesperson license, you must fulfill the requirements below.
- Complete and pass the 60-hour Principles of Real Estate course approved by the State.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Pass the state licensing examination.
- Affiliate with a broker prior to transacting any business as a licensee.
- The Virginia Real Estate Board requests information about any convictions for misdemeanors or felonies.
